It's another edition of the very popular Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal, featured every second Friday night. Jump in the circle and throw your hands in the air for the lively and diverse blend of Balkan Folk Dance Music from Plovdiv Party Bus (from Macedonian to Bulgarian to Swedish), followed by the traditionally-focused four piece (violin, clarinet, hand drums, laouto, and voice) Greek ensemble, Agapi Mou. The evening culminates with the explosive energy of Eastern European Folk/Klezmer of Orchestra Euphonos. This performance will feature Peter Bonos, trumpet, Annie Cilley, saxophone and vocals; Travis Hendrix, clarinet & mandolin; Juliana Frick, upright bass, Kalei Yamanoha, accordion, Aharon Wheels Bolsta, percussion plus special guests Yoshie Fruchter and Jeremy Brown of Pitom.
