Saturday, June 27: Brian Kenney Fresno + Jack-O-the-clock + Reconnaissance Fly

Organic, provacative and progressive rock

Brian Kenney Fresno 11:15pm-12:30pm

Armed with raisins, sing-along lyric sheets, and his giant super guitar, half-man, half-contraption Brian Kenney Fresno seeks to create a performance so dense, with a gravitational pull so great, that even light cannot escape.

This black hole of entertainment is so heavy that it ultimately collapses on itself upon spewing the audience with all that is Fresno.

Jack-O-the-clock 10:00pm-11:00pm

“Jack O’ the Clock presents a fine lesson on what it means to write songs that are at once approachable and human while simultaneously being incredibly profound in terms of timbre, depth of emotion, and harmonic complexity. A brilliant and courageous work of American folk served over a strange backdrop...” -MATT DI GIORDANO, PROGULATOR

Reconnaissance Fly 9:00pm-9:45pm

Reconnaissance Fly is outside the recommended cheese. Spam poetry, found texts, and original lyrics mix deliriously with jazz, progressive rock, funk, samba, free improvisation, a small Chinese gong, and an arsenal of wind instruments all deployed against the forces of tedium.

The five members of Reconnaissance Fly are Amanda Chaudhary with keyboard and electronics; Rich Lesnik playing clarinet, bass clarinet, and soprano and tenor saxophones; Polly Moller with voice, flutes and guitar; Larry the O on the drums, and Tim Walters on bass guitar and electronics.
